When I open the game, there's a brief loading bar, and then it closes. There's no error message or crash report, it just shuts off.

I have verified files, reinstalled it multiple times on both drives, removed my cloud save, deleted everything on my PC named "Balatro," nothing seems to work.

If you have AMD GPU or cpu then try Mesa 3d wrapper. This might help.

I now have the exact same problem, running on a system:

Ryzen 5 5600x
RX 6900xt
32gb ram
game on a 1TB NVMe

no issues with other games, tried restarting, tried Mesa 3d wrapper, nuking the appdata folder, verifying integrity of game files, restarting game, reinstalling game on a different drive. Nothing works...

did you try updating your CPU and GPU drivers from the AMD website?
