Probably is not gonna be a mod I immediately work on, but I did want to at least leave this here in case someone wants to expand on the ideas that I leave in here.

The Jokers are primarily based on the main hero cast in the game Dissidia Final Fantasy, with a few extras from newer games. Their mechanics are sort of meant to be pretty unbalanced and work for a multitude of different mechanics. Feel free to suggest some alterations to the abilities, I'm mostly an FF1-6 kind of guy lol

Crystal Souls

Warrior of Light (Legendary): Allows all self-destructing cards to resist their effect for 1 trigger.

Firion (Legendary): Create a Spectral card every time a hand exceeds the Blind size.

Onion Knight (Legendary): Gain +^1.01 Mult for every played card that is retriggered this hand.

Dark Knight Cecil (Legendary): x4Mult. Evolves when 16 or more cards are destroyed.
-> Paladin Cecil (Legendary): x5Mult. Increases values of cards to the left and right when it is placed in the center of the Joker deck.

Bartz (Legendary): Copy the abilities of the two leftmost Jokers. If both abilities are triggered in played hand, create a Negative copy of one of the Jokers. (Does not trigger if the two cards are duplicates.)

Terra (Legendary): When a Star, Moon, Sun, or World card is used, change targeted cards to Wild cards and increase their Chips by 10. Evolves if the first three hands of a round do not score more than 10% of Blind requirement, and grant +1 Hand once evolved.
-> Terra (Trance) (Legendary): When any Tarot card is used, grant a random extra resource to all cards in hand. (Chips, Mult, $, Hands, Discards, Hand Size)

Cloud (Legendary): ???

Squall (Legendary): If a hand is played with 5 cards and only one card scores, give the scoring card +100 Chips and +4 Mult.

Zidane (Legendary): At the end of every hand, gain 5% of Blind requirement.

Tidus (Legendary): Phantom Jokers now have a 100% chance to trigger, and when any Phantom Joker is destroyed, create a Negative copy.

Prishe (Legendary): Retrigger all Chips and Mult increases on playing cards, including editions.

Vaan (Legendary): After all Jokers have been triggered, retrigger the rightmost Joker and increase its stats by 1.05X per Joker.

Lightning (Legendary): If this Joker is used, switches between gaining +4 Mult for every Chips effect that is triggered, gaining +100 Chips for every Mult effect that is triggered, and gaining +0.1 XMult for every Chips and Mult effect that is triggered.

Y'shlota (Legendary): Double-sided. When destroying a card, remove Debuffed from any random card or Joker in hand.

Noctis (Legendary): Gains a random increase of 2X Chips, Mult or retriggers Jokers to the left and right of this card. Can be moved during scoring once.

wild cards are seriously that bad, if you're using any suit changing tarot, you don't want wildcards more often than not because the wildcards can get debuffed by any <suit debuffed> boss blind

after you press the play button the jokers are "locked in place", so they aren't registered in new positions until after the hand resolves

some possible suggestions,

Warrior of the Light - Playing cards and jokers cannot destroy themselves.

Firion - Create a Negative Spectral card when played hand exceeds the Blind's score/size.

Bartz - Create a Negative copy of your leftmost Joker after each Boss Blind.

Terra - Tarot cards add +50 chips to all affected playing cards. (still not great but idk what to do here)

Prishe - Retrigger all played cards 2 times.

Zidane or Y'shlota - Blind requirement is 1 Ante behind.

Half of this I mostly just overtuned super hard because I mainly didn't wanna make it borderline trivial
