Hi, I've started working on the translation, Im hoping more of the Hebrew translators join me here. I wanted to start by saying I think the word "סיבוב" would better fit than the word "סבב" that some people have been using.

Also I believe using the word "מולט" and not translations like "כפל" would better fit the theme and avoid confusion. thoughts?

I agree with you about the first one, “סיבוב” is, as I believe, a more widely used term than the latter, but I don’t think the word “מולט” fits, as it is a real word in Hebrew, and some people may be confused about it.

Ok, so I should change it to "כפל"? I feel that would be confusing because there are multiple things in the game that "multiply"

What things? Also, even in the english language, mult is just short for multiplication

Also, how does translation with crowdin work? Do I just add a translation to what I want while keeping the code aspects of it?

Also, since we need consistency, how are face cards called?

I call them "קלפי מלוכה" which I believe is the accepted terminology in Hebrew

Well for starter Chips multiply by mult, wouldnt it be confusing if it was "Chips are multiplied by multiplier"? "צ'יפים מוכפלים בכפל" and then things like Baron which multiplies your score per king. I do believe you're right though, using a word that has no meaning in Hebrew like "מולט" is probably more wrong than just using a word that might confuse someone for like 2 minutes.

If you mouse over the green parts it'll tell you not to translate them, everything in white needs translation even if its surrounded by code.

Next on the agenda, what would you call a blind? I believe in Hebrew we just say "בליינד" but I've seen people translate it to "floor" which I really dislike, what do you think?

I've just seen someone correct one of mine to "מכפלה" which does sound better to me, so I'll just correct all of mine to this unless we agree on something else

Also just noticed this example I gave is wrong, the spacing in the translation needs to be similar to how it is in english, so there should be a line down somewhere in there (I don't believe this one can be split into 3 lines)

I feel like בליינד does sound best, and since there isn’t really any translation from english, I think it’s the best choice

Also, the word “ante”, do we translate it to אנטה?

Yeah I believe it is actually a word in Hebrew, google translates to that as well, its pronounced anta

Aww man I was having a blast helping with this, and now I doubt the game will ever be translated to Hebrew, I have a friend that hardly knows any English and I really wanted him to play Balatro. Is there a way I can maybe volunteer?

While you should know the fan helped localization project is canceled (by request of the game dev) I will add that there are no casinos in Israel, gambling of that sort is illegal there

we use the word בליינד for blind
so we go סמול בליינד = small blind
ביג בליינד - big blind
dealer - דילר

joker = ג'וקר

the translations for the planet and tarot cards are more complex altough I believe we can translate it 1 to 1
is there a xml file so I could use to translate the game sequentialy?
