Hi there! I don't know if any other participant is reading. I'm SoyFaii at Crowdin. There are some terms that everyone's trying to localize differently and we should establish some common localization: the most obvious is the "Boss Blind" whose literal translation is "cega cap" (and that's what I'm using), but that sounds weird plus some phrases are difficult to translate because of that (e.g. "Boss Disabled" would be "Cap desactivat" but that translation can also mean "none disabled")

I've seen two main different translations that could be clearer and sound great, but are not like the original:

• "Cap de Cegues" (reverse translated "Boss of Blinds")
• "Cega Final" (r.t. "Final Blind", kinda obvious)

I'll wait for some response from other contributors

That is because 'Cap' in Catalan can mean 'boss', 'none', or 'head', so shouldn't worry too much about it.

Hi there!! My native language is Catalan. I've noticed that Balatro isn't available in Catalan yet, at least not on mobile, so I'd be super happy to help with the localization!

I have previous experience doing translations from English to Catalan in collaborative environments like MediaWiki.

Hmm if that's still open to feedback, I'd translate "Boss Blind" as "Ceguera d'amo" or "Ceguera de cap". I'm not really sure why Blinds are called like that tho, so it'd be cool to know that first

Oh nevermind, looks like the term comes from Poker and the official Catalan translation used in Poker is "Cega", with Small and Big Blind being translated as "Cega petita" and "Cega gran" respectively, in which case I think "Cega final" works really well for Boss Blind
