Lag on Nintendo Switch

I bought this game a week ago, and after a few days, around ante 5 or 6, my game started to lag. It’s not unplayable, but it doesn’t run smoothly or fast (I play at the highest speed). After searching online, I found that other people are experiencing the same issue on the Nintendo Switch, and the solution is to change the language to English (I play in Spanish, as do most others). It’s a curious solution, but it actually works—if I go back to the menu and change the language, the game runs perfectly again. The good thing is that this bug has a quick fix, but, to be honest, I’d prefer to play this game in my native language. I hope this can be solved soon.

I've experienced the same issue. It's a bit annoying, i have the first model switch and when i was at ante 8 it was unplayable for me, i got a headache because of all the bounces the game has with low fps. I will try the language fix but i also prefer to play it in Spanish. I hope for a fix as soon as possible because i love this game

Same issue here, bought the game last night and when I started playing the game started to slowdown as you progress within the antes. I've had these problem using the Portuguese translation

Same here, playing on a Switch Lite in spanish language. The framerate starts to drop consequently after round 3 or 4. At round 8 is almost a mess and it starts to become unplayable once you are at infinity game. I had to switch back to english in order to play at 60fps. I hope the devs will find a solution for this.

Same issue here, using dutch translation. one temporarily "fix" it to just go back to main menu and continue the game, it will run smooth again

I've had the same issue, using italian translation, and found the same workaround
I have to do it every 10-15 minutes for it to remain playable

Same here, French on Switch. Beyond framerate dips there are graphical glitches including headache inducing screen flickering

I only have ever played in English and the further into the game I make it, the worse the lag is. I was doing an endless run and even on 4x speed, ante 11 felt like I was playing on 0.5x speed.

UPDATE: A few hours ago I’ve played an entire run using only the touchscreen (I used to play using the joycons) and it went very smooth without any frame loss and to be honest now I like more playing this way than with the controllers, it felt more confortable. Hope this helps somebody with the the tanslation issue. 🫡

I always played with the touchscreen, and the lags appears. Maybe you are ready less joker descriptions than before ? Maybe that's what makes the game like (more and more translations to display)
