(Concepting) Coonie's StupidSuits & Poor Raccoon's Fortune

I haven't started on either of these mods ngl. This thread is too keep me accountable and share my ideas.

I'll start with PRF because there's a lot less to say

Poor Raccoon's Fortune

The gimmick here is simple. It's a traditional joker/content pack with a slight twist: All art so be made by me exclusively by composing free pixel art assets

Coonie's StupidSuits

Adds 4 suits (2 of which are concepted) and associated jokers with new suit colors aqua and purple (as opposed to dark and light).

Ringtails:

• Symbol: Simplified raccoon tail
• Color: Dark purple

Jokers:

• Sneaky Joker: Played cards with Ringtail suit give +3 mult when scored
• Shiny Object: Played cards with Ringtail suit give x1.1 mult when scored. For each 5 Ringtail cards scored, get $4 immediately
• Rac and Coonie: Retrigger all Ringtail suit cards
• Trashy Treasure: Played cards with Ringtail suit give $1 when scored
• Hoarded Pebble: Played cards with Ringtail suit give +7 Mult when scored
• Danger Stick: Played cards with Ringtail suit give +50 chips when scored
• Rascal Heart: 1 in 2 chance for Played cards with Ringtail Suit to give 1.5x mult when scored
  (And also probably a few more but that's nearly enough to match the base game + Flounders ones for each suit)

Homos:

• Symbol: 2 intertwined male symbols
• Color: Seagreen/ aqua

Jokers:

• Proud Joker: Played cards with Homo suit give +3 mult when scored
• Rhinestone: Played cards with Homo suit give x1.2 Mult when scored, 1 in 2 chance to retrigger homo suit cards
• Guy and Dude: Retrigger all Homo suit cards
• Tax on Straights: Played cards with Homo suit give $1 when scored
• Sack of Stones: Played cards with Homo suit give +7 Mult when scored
• Taser: Played cards with Homo suit give +50 chips when scored
• Fancy Ring: 1 in 2 chance for Played cards with Ringtail Suit to give 1.5x mult when scored
  (And also probably a few more but that's nearly enough to match the base game + Flounders ones for each suit)

Poptabs (partially concepted)

Symbol: Soda can tab
Color: Teal

(There will also be other suit jokers, like a version of Smeared (Crosseyed). And probably more)

My idea for more jokers for the suits. In addition to what's been said before. Currently with all the vanillia suit stuff I also wanna add, I might add a whole module for it. Kinda a Flounder's Joker's 2 sorta thing

Ah, I see now. The Ringtail one is a combo between Blood and Rough, while the Homo one is a weaker Paladin.

also these aren't red/black suits they're their own two color system

Purple and Aqua, with the specific suit colors for the 2 completed ones being a darkish bluey purple and a standard seagreen/aqua

I say that mostly because pair synergy isn't something that really fits as the main stone, coin, or 'bard' joker, and it's nice to flesh it out a bit and add situational jokers that aren't in any of those sets anyways

Red Garnet (Uncommon).

Scored Homo Cards will give 1.5x Chips. This is increased to 2x if there's also a scoring Heart/Diamond card in the hand.

I think it might be good if it just contains the Pair hand, so you can use higher hands like TP, FH, and even XOAK/Pair-containing Flush hands.

I usually like the stone jokers (and the Fusion/Defused suit set) to in no way disensentivise flushes tbh, and 'red garnet' is an interesting stone choice for an aqua colored suit, but without the stone themeing, it'd work well as one of the general jokers not in any of the defined sets

That's it, just shoes. It's the first thing that popped into my mind, and probably could be easily done. Plus, it'd make for some pretty funny Jokers. And here's what I have for the Friend Skins.

Ringtail: Rigby for Kings (cuz he's definitely a king in our hearts by the end), Michiru for Queens (cuz that's the best raccoon-lady I can think of rn), and Rambley for Jacks (cuz he's stupidly popular).

Homos: You for King (cuz you're the best gay fella in our hearts. 😊), uhhh....your choice of lesbian for Queens, and if it's not too much to ask, maybe me as Jacks (since I have a bit of it as well)?

Poptabs: Dr. Pepper as Kings (more popular with men), Coke as Queens (more popular with women), and Sprite as Jacks.

Shoes: Boots as Kings, High Heels for Queens, and Slippers for Jacks.

The different theming is fine but kinda like flounder did, I prefer some connection to the original. Life I think is of his arrowhead ones was 'bullet tip' curious with whatever you come up with though. Tbh being different will help give the actual original stone jokers some more identity

And if you really wanna go nuts, I'm planning to go Flounders style for the new stone jokers too.

And here's some ideas I have for the Uncommon Suit Jokers, based off of weapon/dangerous objects, called Vandal Objects.

Danger Mask (Uncommon): Scored Ringtails will give you 1$ per 10% of Blind Score you achieve with the hand.
Claw Pounce (Uncommon): Scored Paws will reduce the current max Blind size by 4% (multiplicative).
Fizzy Bomb (Uncommon): Scored Poptabs will give +60 Chips and +16 Mult, but have a 1 in 3 chance to destroy the card afterwards (similar to Glass Cards).
Rainbow Brick (Uncommon): Scored Homos will have a 1 in 2 chance to trigger a random Shiny Stone/Vandal Object Joker effect. Can retrigger self if it gives Rainbow Brick again.
Fuzzy Joker (Uncommon): Ringtails and Paws count as the same suit. Poptabs and Homos count as the same suit.

And here's not only the Suit Jokers, but also some obligatory Hero Fusions...only these will be themed based off of Bandits instead. >:)

Proud Joker (Common): Scored Homos give +8 Mult (more than usual, as these Suits are harder to achieve).
Furry Joker (Common): Scored Paws give +8 Mult.
Drunk Joker (Common): Scored Poptabs give +8 Mult.
Thieving Joker (Common): Scored Ringtails give +8 Mult.

Poptab Vagabond (Rare, or Drunk + Fizzy): Scored Poptabs give x1.33 Chips and Mult. 1 in 8 chance to destroy the scored card and give a random tag.
Homo Rebel (Rare, or Proud + Rainbow): Scored Homos will either trigger 2 random Shiny Stone/Vandal Object Joker effects, or 1 Suit Hero/Suit Bandit Fusion effect (at random). Will retrigger self if either Rainbow Brick or Homo Rebel is given.
Paw Fursuitter (Rare, or Furry + Claw): Scored Paws will reduce current Blind size by 5% (multiplicative). 1 in 2 chance to retrigger played Paws.
Ringtail Bandit (Rare, or Thieving + Danger): Scored Ringtails will give +$ depending on the current Blind payout. If there is no payout, then +2$. If you are in debt, then increase given money by x5.

Very good ideas. Also are all your ideas bars on then being harder to get? That's only true in the default mode, which isn't my preference, so I'd like them to have normal suit values in the other modes. Other than that, I like them a lot

Only other l set left to come up with is the snow's style suit coins

Also ask the names for the Flounders style jokers. All these for the other 7 suits. And the ones for the og suits for these(besides the ones I already did) no need to worry about that though. I don't mind thinking of those

also, would anyone be willing to help out with the art for the suit stuff? I still wanna do Derived Insanity (the main joker pack part of PRF) jokers myself, in a style kinda like this, but I also want there to be consistency with the other suit jokers for the suit stuff, and I just don't have the skill for that
