Can't try it out right now, but will tonight. "Not balanced" just seems to mean standard mod power level atm, are you planning to go further than that?

Lol no, that probably explains it
xdd so basically, in isaac each item has a hidden stat called Quality, which ranges between 0-4. I have just gone off of the idea that Quality 1 = common, Quality 2 = uncommon etc. Quality 0 items in isaac are normally quite strange so I think I will manually decide which rarity I want to use for each Quality 0 when it comes to it
Also, the mod isn't really like purposely "Not balanced" it's just the case that my goal going into creating the mod is to try to mirror the stats of the items in Isaac in terms of different variable joker stats in balatro. The README.md has a list of the subsitutes for each stat, though it might not mean a lot if you havent played the same aha

I kind of like the idea that the Quality of the item in Isaac mirrors to how often you see it in this mod, because Quality does affect spawn rate of items in Isaac, but it might end up making the mod kind of repetitive if a lot of the jokers are legendaries and stuff so I might change this later
If I do change this it'll be after I implement every item, then I'll balance from there
but, there are a lot of items so that'll take a while

...It really should have parameters to at least be obtained not through the usual way (Soul), because getting an early Soul and getting THIS would be an absolute buzzkill.

I actually was making a mod with the same core idea, so i could lend a hand with some art i already made for that one and maybe some new art

on the topic of item pools one of the ideas i have is to add packs for each of the item pools
that, and my original idea was for passive items to work like vouchers while actives take up joker slots.
and I don't know how I never thought of just making booster packs to get the items

also i was originally going to just make 'A Dollar' appear in shops and stuff but now I kind of want to make cards for each of the machines and make it obtained by like selling a slot machine card or something
or like slot machines trigger every round and give a little money but theres a chance its destroyed and you get a dollar

also the shops between blinds could have like an item room item and like something else along side it
like a planetarium item or a secret room item or something
but i dont know if i could influence the shops to do that
also i was considering making it so that you only see isaac cards
or at least a setting for it
what if there was also a spectral called devil deal? where you sacrifices something (like a hand/discard/handsize) to get a free devil pack and thats the only way to get them?

oh yeah cus you get 2 consumable slots, and in isaac you can have 1 trinket and 1 consumable
+theres the items that increase the amount of trinkets and consumables you can hold (which can effect the consumable slots)

the thing is its hard to stop things being repetitive when its focused closely around the stats in isaac that each item applies
so some items could get unique effects that dont really follow the isaac items just so it doesnt get repetitive
cus thats my only problem right now is im worried that its going to just become extremely repetitive

If ya need someone to help balance out the item effects, lemme know...cuz Cricket's Head still seems extremely weak for how powerful it should be, while some others (mainly Roid Rage, NO.1, and ESPECIALLY Mom's Lipstick) seem incredibly powerful.
i mean that's just a permanent Juggler Tag
...That's the thing, +3 Hand Size for what's effectively a Common is INSANE. Compared to Vanilla, Juggler only gives +1 Hand Size, and Toubaldor gives +2 Hand Size for -1 Hands Played.
Unless if you're going for the Cryptid approach of "intentionally unbalanced".
