When I open the game and start playing, after a few seconds the game simply closes, no warning, no error message, it simply freezes and close
I’m having this issue for 3 days in a row. I had closed and reopen the steam, reinstalled the game twice, wiped the save folder entirely, updated my card drivers, restarted the computer and nothing helped.

Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X

Did you update your CPU drivers as well with the latest drivers from the AMD website?

All of that, i did everything i can. Last day i did a search for any problems with windows fix tools, this didn't help. I use Kaspersky, i did a scan and nothing, i deactivated the antivirus and nothing, deleted the save and everything in the folder and nothing. All my drivers are updated, i did right now the amd drivers update and not worked too.

not too similar, in my case the game starts then freezes and close. No error message.

They also never got a crash or error message - though I dont think they ever even saw the game tbf

yeah, in my case i still can play for a few seconds till the game entirely freeze. I'll try to reinstall the steam again. Again, thanks for the help

Are there any log files that can be found in the steamapps folder?
Being able to post those will help get to the root of the issue

Try with Mesa 3d wrapper. If your issue is somehow related to your GPU, then it may help, since it renders the game via CPU.

Seems like an instability issue to me

In bios settings disable xmp and see how it goes

Weird idea. Try to create a new account in windows and check whether you still have this issue
It might be some issue with register files in your current account
I also remember seeing somewhat similar problem like 5 months ago, and one of the solution was connected to the certain properties in the amd settings. I'll try to find that thread

Maybe your game is trying to use cpu instead of your gtx1660

Nothing, changed the ssds and etc, nothing. I'll take some time and dunno, format the pc and try again.
