when I checked, I realized that I should have completed a few achievements already, but my achievement count is 0? is this a mistake or am I making a mistake somewhere

Did you use the Unlock All button on your Balatro profile?

Are you using a modded game? What achievements should you be having? Do you use seeds when starting new runs? Did you use unlock all on Profile 1 (this shouldn't disable achievements for Profile 2 but maybe this is the bug)?

no, I bought the game and just installed and played it, the mod is not installed and I have a single profile...

i think I've solved the problem! I think I installed a language patch, deleted the game, reloaded, tried opening a new profile and opened my first success. but I think I'll have to start over for all my other achievements.
