Can’t play outside audio on mobile

I bought the soundtrack, I love the music, but sometimes I’d like to listen to other things. The mobile version (1.4.2) for Apple Arcade interrupts whatever audio is playing on the device elsewhere. I’m on iOS 18.0. To be clear, Apple Music stops playing whenever Balatro+ is open, which is a shame.
