Is this PURELY downsides, or is it more tradeoffs?

rental scales with scaling jokers
egg has a change to hatch and destroy itself
all enhanced cards have a chance to break
rerolling has a change to add stickers onto jokers
jokers proccing has a chance to add stickers to itself
brainstorm has a higher chance to be pinned
selecting a card has a chance to deselect a card
playing a hand has a chance to downgrade it by a level
booster packs can only be used twice per ante
and possibly hard boss blinds i have yet to come up with
mod detects if your deck contains too much of one suit and will force a boss blind that disables that suit
cool idea but balatro already does that

cards have to be destroyed multiple times for each seal, edition or enhancement, with each time you remove the seal, edition or enhancement.
tarot cards have a chance to be reversed and apply negative effects
each blind is a boss blind, and you have to beat ante 12 3 times to win.
if your score is triple the blind, you immediately go to the boss blind.
conversely, for boss blinds, this'll send you straight to ante 8.
cards can slip out your played hand
all booster packs contain playing cards in them
vouchers cost 2 times more
discarded cards have a chance to be sold and destroyed completely. (can be used to your advantage)
Boss blind suggestions
The Swiper
- all played cards get swiped ( destroyed )
The FBI
- all discarded cards go to prison ( destroyed )
The Government
- all Jokers gain rental
The Reaper
- all Jokers gain perishable
The Industry Plant
- all cards are considered as face cards. all face cards give -8 chips
The Wormhole
- Played hand's level gets reset
The Consumer
- all consumables are destroyed
The Twin Towers
- Gain an eternal rental obelisk each hand
The Toilet
- Set money to zero after second hand

each in game action has a 1 in a 1000 chance for the bee movie crash
naturally its about 1 in 2000 id say so not that much of a difference
death has a 50/50 chance each to turn left into right, right into left, or destroy both
Playing cards give half chips rounded up
Enhancements do half of what they would originally do
So gold would give 1.5
Steal would give x1.125
Mult would give +2 ECT
Steel should technically give ~x1.22 to make 2 steel cards give x1.5

Holographic: -10 base mult
Ploychrome: harder vserion of blind
Negative: face a second blind after beating this one

instead of normal scaling, every small blind's required score is [number of hands you have] times your best hand in the previous ante
the first small blind requires 321 score
What if jokers had a damaged edition that halved any numbers in the joker description
So 2xmult becomes 1.5xmult or +50 chips becomes +25 chips etc
Or maybe “faded” would be better as the edition since the editions are all shaders of some kind
Ooh what about a devilled egg joker that gets stuck in your inventory for a few rounds and loses sell value every round
What if you had to pay taxes on your total money and income
Maybe there could be a blind that forces you to sell a joker and that joker doesn’t appear in the joker pool for the rest of the run (not a final blind)
Ok this is probably TOO evil but a boss blind that reverses xmult effects
So 1.5xmult becomes 0.5xmult
Reducing the score essentially
What if you took The Wall and turned it into The Great Wall of China and buffed the amount of chips required by an insane amount

New stake effects:
- White Stake: Must beat Ante 12 to win. Applies base [Gold Stake]
- Red Stake: Big Blinds give no reward money. Small Blinds are removed
- Green Stake: Required score scales much faster for each Ante (+2)
- Black Stake: All shop items have a chance of being Double-Back (shows back sprite on both sides, description is hidden)
- Blue Stake: -1 Hand Size, -1 Shop slot, -1 Booster Pack slot
- Purple Stake: Required score scales much faster for each Ante (+2)
- Orange Stake: Shop can have To-Do Jokers (Debuffed at start of round until a <poker hand> is played, hand changes every round)
- Gold Stake: Shop can have Dull Knife Jokers (When Blind is selected, destroy Joker to the right and add half its sell value to this lifetime (Currently 1 round) [Lifetime: Consume 1 lifetime at end of round. This Joker is debuffed if it has 0 or less rounds of lifetime.])
this is literaly imposible
could be reworked
but basically it needs to eat other jokers to be active and dies sooner than perishable if it doesn't
what makes it unique from perishable is that it can be re-enabled on demand after being debuffed for the first time

the current plans are what i've shared
ante should scale ATLEAST 10% faster
boss blinds should be 2.25 blind requirement and big blinds should be 2
base ante scaing should be purple stake scaling.
red stake could be reworked and purple could further increase ante scaling

- ankh doesn't copy any editions
- cryptid only makes 1 copy
lovers is already just 1 card?

- Xmult is now +Mult
- you can't rearrange jokers or cards
- you don't get interest
- planet cards are used on specific cards
