I just started trying to mod the game for the first time and i am currently getting an error.. if anyone could help.. I'd appreciate it.
When i launch a light blue screen pops up saying that main function has more than 200 local variables. (I have 0 knowledge in coding if it isn't apparent)

which version of steamodded were you trying to install and which guide were you following?

The first thing you should do for sure is verify game files on steam to have clean files to start with

I downloaded the 'main' version (?) At least thats the name of the folder

Checked on steam and it fixed the game.. now it lauches again.. but not the modded version
