yes but I have since removed the mod folder and gotten rid of the lovely version

maybe its a corrupted save file or config file
so move them to another place and verify if the game runs or not

Maybe steam redownload the appdata balatro save files with steam cloud
Test disable steam cloud saves and delete the balatro data in appdata, and test if game runs
