This is a mod idea that proposes a way to make a 1v1 vs mode for balatro, with new mechanics and jokers. All the things that will be added will be listed on this google doc

This mod has a lot of card and joker potential so please give your thoughts and recommendations for the mod. I still haven't figured out how to get steammodded working so I won't be able to code this but maybe I could do work on the side if someone else wants to. This post is mostly made just to share the concept since I never make any of the mod concepts I come up with but who knows, maybe this one will be different? (It won't)

no... kinda.
you'd have to wait for your opponent to finish their blinds and shops and you both play in the same blind and shop but other than that each boss blind is only 1 attack dealt so it's not turn based

a multiplayer mod already exists (outdated), but I think someone was working on an improved version?

Someone else was bound to have the idea as well
I guess this is just my take on it. It'd be nice to have a multiplayer balatro mod but the guy that's actually working on stuff with it would probably get to it first. There's a mod idea out there for basically any gimmick centric balatro mod you can think of so not every mod idea has to be completely original

nah it's not all that active these days and again, that mod is outdated (not sure what the status on an eventual upgrade would be)
