Game Will Lose Audio if you Turn Bluetooth Headphones On/Off Mid-Game

I wear wireless headphones for everything and I just discovered an interesting audio bug. When the game is running, if you turn your bluetooth headphones:

OFF: The game will lose audio and will never have it even if you turn your headphones back on
ON: The game will have audio but it will run through your computer speakers and not your headphones. Your headphones will connect to the audio of other applications but will never connect with the game. So, you will hear every other audio source in your bluetooth headphones while the game audio will run through the computer speakers.

The audio will work properly if you just reset your game, but it would be nice for the game to auto-detect bluetooth audio. This is probably the first time I have ever ran into this sort of issue with any game/app

in the little volume menu thing, check if there's a little arrow on the right
this is the "current default" audio output, my headphones are a little weird because they sometimes "read" from the speaker channel, not their own

I don't think this is a bug with the game. This is a common thing that can happen with bluetooth headphones and any applications.

there's been many reports for this, basically you can't switch the audio output in-game while it's running. Even if you change it on your device it will stay on the old device, including if it's disconnected (i.e. all audio is lost)

Yeah, but I believe it's more of a windows issue than a game issue.

Or if it is a game issue- it's love2D.

but this has happened to me even with regular headphones for other games etc.

I think its often a problem with just applications and audio devices changing while an application is running
