Sup, this is my personal mod
I'm more of a google drive person than github but I'll upload there for people who want to try it out when I have the time to get it set up
Got three jonklers already in the game and mostly working (no crashes, just needa fix up some UI hiccups)
All is subject to change, project is currently in prerelease/alpha stage
New Jonklers:
Pointilism Joker (Common) - Each played Ace gives +8 Mult when scored. "All part of a bigger picture"
Eclipse Joker (Rare) - 5x Mult, -4 hand size. "Let light shine out of darkness"
Rorschach Joker (Common) - Retrigger all played cards. 1 in 10 chance this card is destroyed at end of round.
if you're super eager to test or a piano falls on my head before I make a github here ya go. Should be all good except for an issue where once Rorschach disappears it'll still say "Safe!" under it just before dissapearing
tho I don't think -4 hand size is fun for the eclipse
you basically lose to psychic
yeah I did run into that problem
it's def the card I'm rebalancing a lot rn
it started out x6 and -3
alright
also if you are going for the same color scheme as vanilla you should use balatro black instead of pitch black
you can find that on like scary face
kinda hard to do any minus hand size card without some weirdness since I also did a test run where the card got duplicated and left me with 0 hand size

tho I'm kinda already off model with having way more gradients than vanilla anyway so I'm not too concerned about that
it seems the game also just messes with the contrast as is
from testing the cards only looked the same as how I made them while pausing
had to bump up saturation a lot in the end compared to my earliest design passes
just changed some of the black levels a lil and gave rorschach a bit of a better border and yeah I'm happy enough with these ones atm

well, you can still technically score and win with debuffed cards
an eternal one of this joker would make the run iterally unwinable if the psychic showed up
But then there's the modded blind The Corpse
err the Cadaver maybe
anyway that is the same situation
I could just set it to not be in the eternal pool
though yeah the psychic softlock isn't ideal
I could live with it being -3 hand size
on the other hand blueprinting it only gives the double mult bonus
and checkered deck with -3 hand size is still just guaranteed flushes for days
blueprint is just broken like that so its fine 
base stat flushes with eclipse is only 1.5k anyway
so it's not like broken broken still

I’d maybe bring everything up a layer in your GitHub, it’ll likely end up with people having nested folders this way I think
Yeah, having random readme.mds in our mod folders doesn't hurt anything
Man I have all sorts of crap in my mods folder
makes sense
tho it seems to wig out doing it that way for the raw repo, I'll do a release instead
i think Rorschach should maybe be uncommon. The balance is similar to Seltzer on the level
Rorschach feels like it should have something to do with a symmetrical hand
So if you play a pair of kings and then a 3 that you wanna get rid of then you get Rorschach to pop if it's K 3 K

I think originally I didn't want to make too many uncommons due to Baseball Card but nah you're right it should have parity with Seltzer

it's a scholar where the chips are substituted for extra mult, yeah

oh nevermind I think I see the issue
yeah the release was fine it's just the github wasn't right
okay, should be fixed
it was just an issue where I renamed the png file from the default "jokers.png" to "jokers451.png" so it didn't cause conflicts and github for some reason didn't push the name change
also while I'm here may as well post about a new card I was workshopping yesterday

okay Time Card and JPod Shuffle are now in the main repo and have been pushed as a release
there is a visual bug with JPod not showing "Upgraded!" after skipping packs but I'll prob iron that out next time

you could register time card as a fusion of those two
with fusion jokers stuffs
it is on 0.9.8 still but it's fully functional on 1.0.0 afaik
Honestly I just play balatro on steam deck in bed so I haven't messed with fusion jokers since afaik it doesnt have controller compat
But I'll look into it
Is rather not have any jokers depend on fusion jokers personslly,, but I'd think it'd be possible to have it be a normal jokey of you don't have fusion jokers installed
Which is it is is what all mods which add fusion jokers should do imo
The mod somehow hardcrashes when used alongside other mods eg. Talisman
