Rare tag doesn't appear

From what I've read online there's no restrictions on when the Rare Tag should appear, meaning it can appear in ante one's small blind, but I have yet to see it appear at all, despite re-rolling the blinds on ante one at least 300 times, furthermore I have found seeded runs that are supposed to contain the rare joker tag as the first tag you encounter and it is always replaced with a different tag, I've sunk around 50 hours into Balatro and have still yet to actually encounter the rare tag on the PS5 version

It is also the only tag I'm missing and one of the few things left to 100% my collection

strange. the rare tag was also the only one missing from the Steam demo back in February.

I believe there is a secret requirement to get it but its made super super easy so you naturally get it

so its probably not that

also, if they picked up blueprint in the last 5 hours of their 50 hour playtime (for example), the rare tag could've only show up in those last 5 hours which isn't unreasonable I'd say

I knew that because of Mathisfun

it was part of the reason people didnt want everything to require 100% files because they wanted to block of other tags and only unlock important tags (in the earlier demos)

yeah it might end up being some issue with the save where you discovered blueprint already but you can't reactivate the condition
