#Weird Straight bugs

royal flush is just a fancy straight flush, that being said, you have a flush (AKQJ) and a flush (KQJ9)
or in the second pic (AQJT) makes the flush
I understand that, but isnt royal flush "The highest possible straight, while also a flush"
Second image, in both scenarios, I dont have a straight flush
yes, it is a bit weird here but nothing too impactful, Royal flush is essentially defined as an Ace-High straight
by the game's logic a royal flush is a straight flush with no card lower than a 10
four fingers allows both the straight component, and the flush component to be made with 4 cards
you have both at the same time
So they just combine it?
pretty much
Huh
Well imo they should either pick the one with the highest score, or just not do that
It had me confused
the game defaults to choosing the hand with the highest base rank (the order in the "run info" tab)
So in the first image, if my straight was lvl 5 and my flush lvl 1, it should score with the straight, instead of making it a straight flush
no, that specific case will always be a straight flush
the joker pretty much exists for straight flushes
the game doesn't care about hand level
Thats so weird
the game always chooses from top down according to this list
So its not a bug, just weird interactions?
yeah
Got it
shortcut somewhat undermines the specific conditions of a royal flush
but it's mostly just semantics
I don't think that most Ace-High straights made with shortcut count
but it doesn't matter in the game
yeah just curious
speaking on this, if your hand was A A A A 5, all being the same suit, the game would always pick 4oak over flush, irregardless of the flush level
no btw, all scoring cards have to be of score 10 or higher for it to be a royal flush
