Any help on fixing this would be appreciated! Really don't want to restart my save file!

also to fix go to %appdata%\Balatro\1 and delete the save.jkr file in there

I don't think so, no. Just tried to boot it on my Steam Deck most recently and got this screen. When i tried it on my PC, i received the same error.

Tried this, unfortunately didn't help.

Hmm, that's weird. Could Steam cloud save possibly be restoring the file?
(I don't know that much about steam cloud tbh)

That was my thought, but when I toggled the setting off in the game settings in Steam, it didn't help :/

are you on profile 1?
if not do same thing but instead at %appdata%\Balatro\2 or %appdata%\Balatro\3

I've tried this, but the moment I reboot the game, the save file reappears in the folder and it crashes again.
If I start a new game profile, it works fine and the save is fine ther.

Would this delete game progress? Or just the most recent run?
