With the Double-Faced Deck, the back of each card is the same as its front. This means that you can always see the top card of the deck, but it also disables any boss blind that causes cards to be drawn facedown. In exchange, your Chip and Mult counts are reduced to 75% of their values after scoring ends.

(The drawback is a bit of a WIP, not at all set in stone.)

Actually wait hang on I had an idea

#

The "facedown" boss blinds cause all cards that would be drawn facedown to instead have backs that don't match what the card actually is

#

there shouldnt be a drawback

#

the use case for this is already quite situational and weak so a drawback is very punishing

Ah

#

even without a drawback this would still be too weak

Hmm

#

Maaaybe... "X-Ray Deck"

#

In addition to seeing the top card of your deck and all facedowns, you can also see two cards below the top (total of 3)

ive seen suggestions about xray stuff and it feels extremely similar to +hand size just without the held in hand stuff

#

like you know what cards you have to work with just like when you have extra hand size

Huh

#

I would have thought that completely obviating what, four? five? different boss blinds, one of which being a final boss, would be a lot more powerful

matador is considered weak since its effect is pretty rng based since you need the right bosses

#

the power of this deck would be very rng based due to the same reason

#

except for the fact that bosses flipping cards are usually the easiest to deal with and dont really end up harming you much

#

using the rank and suit sorting buttons helps make them more negligible

#

and amber acorn is considered the easiest boss to deal with

#

since dipping your toe in the water and playing a few junk hands helps you sort your jokers again
