This mod adds a new language: Hong Kong Cantonese. The translation is adapted from the official traditional Chinese translation

Functionality

• Localized Hong Kong Cantonese
• Modifies some textures, such as expansion packs, some joker tiles, etc. (requires pixel image smoothing to be enabled).

Installation

1. Install steamodded (Balatro's modloader)
2. Download the latest version and unzip it into the Mods folder.

Known bugs

1. When switching back to other languages, the texture is still in Chinese (need to wait for steamodded to update the new function).
2. Defeat Boss Blind to restock doesn't support translation (need to wait for official update)
3. Not allowed! Translation is not supported (need to wait for official update).

👀 Gotta take a look at this when I have time. I also speak HK Cantonese and wanna see how the mod compares to what I say to myself.

just took a quick view (though I don't quite read Cantonese), here are some suggestions:

• in fact I don't know why Even Steven is translated to 互不拖欠, it should be something like ____史蒂文 referencing Odd Todd. I think it is a mis-translation originally in traditional Chinese game text.
• Loyalty Card 印花卡: it just substitutes loyalty_active and loyalty_inactive into #3#, so move the stray charactor 次 into loyalty_inactive
• Runner 跑步L: should be 如果打出嘅牌包含蛇 (if played card contains a straight)
• Todo List 待辦清單: it gives you money immediately, and the hand type changes at the end of round
• Swashbuckler 盜賊: it means "add to mult", not "add mult to this joker"
• Ring Master 馬戲王: it means "appear in duplicates", not "appear for multiple times"
• Shoot the Moon 射向月亮 doesn't require the Q to be a spade one, so it shouldn't be 葵扇Q
• Burnt Joker 攰到爆炸: the word "burnt" probably means "damaged by fire", not "being exhausted". I think the simplified Chinese 烧焦小丑 is better than 累爆小丑
• Hieroglyph 象形文字 and Petroglyph 岩石雕刻 are better to be: -1底注，每回合-1出牌/棄牌次數 (putting "every round" after "ante -1")
• Ectoplasm 靈質: should be {C:red}-#1#{}嘅手牌數量, shouldn't omit the # mark. if you use this card for multiple times, the number may change (-1 for first usage, -2 for second, -3 for third and so on). and note that this is different from Ouija 通靈板
• the description of orange stake: should be 商店可出現{C:attention}會消失{}嘅小丑

btw I'm a native Mandarin speaker (and simplified Chinese writer), I haven't checked the game text in traditional Chinese, so maybe most of these problems also exist in the zh_TW localization
