i'm a first-time player, just bought the game. after entering my first run, i noticed that i was somehow using erratic deck even though i've not won any runs, much less on orange stake. the game seems to function just fine otherwise; the back of the deck is given a lock symbol and the deck is listed as "locked" under the continue menu (as shown in screenshot) and i haven't encountered any other oddities.

EDIT: i've found that this bug is reproducible; video at #1238249166753370163 message on a new file

So from what I gather is you were playing your first ever run and midway through you scrolled through the decks, then you clicked the buttons to get back into the run and for some reason had erratic deck.

Ima assume you also went to main menu afterwards and then when going back in you had erratic deck

there was a similar bug in the previous demo with holding R while looking at a deck, and was fixed with not being able to hold R in menus

nothing out of the ordinary as far as I can tell - you reset on the same tutorial seed with the same deck and the tutorial keeps going where it left off

yeah as far as I can tell it just doesn't seem like you can do/break anything with the decks - you have full access to them only during the tutorial and they work as intended, but that's all

Same issue, I don’t know what deck it is nor do I remember any details around starting the run (I thought the deck was chosen by the game, but I don’t really know), but it’s the tutorial and I paused the run by quitting the app and doing enough other activities on the phone to have it kill the app automatically.

It’s the Apple Arcade version, version code visible in the upper right corner of the screenshot.
