Normal Boss Blinds
The Curse
All Poker Hand levels set to Lv. 1 for this blind
The Plus
Your scores from this Ante's Small and Large Blind are added to this blind
The Hoard
Consumable items disabled
The Glass
Played cards have a 1 in 3 chance to be destroyed
The Pair
Combines two random Boss Blind effects
The Vault
Multiplies blind by 1 + 1/25 your current money
The Zone
Scoring over 50% of the blind's score will sell a random Joker
The Void
Cards discarded previously this Ante will not appear in this blind's deck
The Barrier
Steel cards and cards with stamps debuffed
The Eclipse
Reduces the amount of cards in all booster packs this ante by 1
The Mortgage
Must have at least $[sell cost of all jokers], otherwise sell random jokers until cost is achieved or run out of Jokers
The Skip
Must skip either Small or Large blind
The Effigy
Leftmost Joker is disabled
The River
Discarded cards will be debuffed next Ante

the curse is just a worse fish
it feels weird to have red anchor only affect non-vanilla
pale portal only does something in endless mode, which is kind of bad design
the barrier is just annoying and only counters one exact build
also do you mean consumables when you say item

Curse could be either better/worse depending on how focused you are on leveling
or a temporary extreme arm

Adds consequences if you have a deck that overshoots the score, but they can also be skipped
if no blinds are skipped, it would make a worse wall right?

The Pair (Needle + Water) is a bit evil
And the skip is a bit nonsense, you can’t prepare for the skip at all
You only see the boss blind when you exist the ante’s first shop in which you can’t visit the shop again until you beat the skip
I could change Skip to you have to skip at least one blind but not both
Would be funny and give a niche use for negative money so sure
What if you can’t meet the mortgage even after selling jokers

I suppose the effect would end when you either meet the mortgage or you run out of jokers
if i use judgement after runnout out of jokers do i lose that joker too (assuming i don't meet the mortage)
Mortgage would only apply at the start of the blind
Jokers gained in the middle of the round you can keep
Changed Pale Portal from "All discarded cards are destroyed" to "All cards played or discarded this Ante are destroyed"
added 4 new boss blinds
the divide could actuall help you sometimes
fyi they changed that so now you can check the next boss blind as soon as you beat one, not very important here but nice to know if you yk play balatro

Seeded Deck
All rounds have identical card patterns, the pattern can be rerolled in shops
Define “card pattern”
You will start with the same cards and draw the same cards after each play/discard
what if you create more cards
yea that could be an issue

All rounds start with the same cards, this will change when adding/removing cards or changing hand size
Wait I know, the old system still works, you can just reroll to introduce new cards to the deck
if you remove a card, it will be replaced with the last card set to appear in the deck
