Stories of great triumph and glory, but hidden within them are secret, heavy burdens.
Ready to carry their stories, and the burdens that come with them?

We are very excited to show our next mod: Fool's Fables!
Fool's Fables adds a new type of card to the game Boons!. Boons are powerful cards that you can get when you reach certain ante levels.
There are many boons, which have powerful abilities. But, boons also carry a curse with them.
Boons can have a variaty of curses on them, that change how you play the game, and enhance your run.

The boons have their own special spot in the game, right above the deck cards! (You can see it in the video).
We will post updates about the mod and the progress. Feel free to give us your ideas and thoughts!

You have some amount of slots for these Boons, and while you have a Boon in those slots, you gain the associated benefits & detriments

psychic's ability has killed me at max 6 times throughout about 300 hours

It's mostly killed me through forgetting its there and playing a 4 of a kind or two pair without adding an extra card

Feder I have some questions. Will boons always have a curse, or will there be a small chance for a clean boon to appear or something that removes, mitigates or alters them?

I assume they're sellable, but do you have plans on including an eternal curse?

Only boon packs? No jumbo or megas?

It'll be the same regardless, it'll make more sense later but let me put it this way: boon pack sprite is there mostly because we wanted a visual there

the only thing that's been broken for me is sound api but that's just because it hasn't been updated to the new syntax
