Ever wanted to make a joker that responds to "light" suits without having to set them all manually? Ever wanted Blackboard to allow your suit to stay in the hand? This API is for you!
As the name implies, it includes a few features related to suit "colors". These are basically groups that suits can be categorized into for the sake of triggering certain effects. For example, one of the default colors is "dark", and with this mod, Blackboard will trigger if your hand is comprised of ANY dark suits rather than just spades or clubs. A feature like this is supposedly coming to Steamodded eventually, but I thought it would be nice to have now.
The API allows you to set the color of your custom suits, create entirely new colors, and base the effect of stuff like Jokers off the suit color of whatever card(s) you want. By default, it includes compatibility with SixSuits and Bunco, with Stars and Fleurons being "light" and Moons and Halberds being "dark". That means that on its own, this mod will already make Moons and Halberds trigger Blackboard, so I guess that's a reason to download it if that specific thing bothers you.
