Was in the blind select screen and had 6 double tags, skipped the blind to give mega arcana packs and then rerolled the boss blind with retcon. It then opened the pack showing all the cards and then opened a second pack over the top of the first one. This then meant I couldn't select any cards or skip the pack. Reopening the game/reopening the run didn't resolve it.

basically you used retcon mid skip tag pack and that saved the game, and now you are softlocked cause you went out and back into the game

Same... Is there any way to recover from this situation other then start a new game? The run was about to end anyway, but I'd prefer to just finish it proper 🙂

Do we know if the dev is looking into fixing it? This soft lock just happened to me and I’m supper bumbed.. I know it’s been around a long time (after looking into it)

a player made an online save fixer for this bug a while ago so if you're on PC you can continue the run by replacing your save file with the one you get after uploading it to https://larswijn.github.io/BalatroReTag/
