Game crashes and shows this message every time I hit play | Balatro | Page 1

I can load on to the menu and click everything else just fine but the second I hit play the game just crashes and displays this message. Please help.

Ok done a little more testing. If it helps at all with fixing the problem, for some reason Balatro runs just fine if I use one of the other profile slots.

perhaps you used a modded deck on that slot and now you can’t hit play without it trying to show a deck that doesn’t exist?

although if you haven’t played modded then i’m not sure what the issue would be

Ye I havent even touched modded balatro unfortunately

Such a shame too. I think this game is absolutely phenomenal but I can't really overlook just losing all my progress. Had the same problem with Neon White and just had to stop playing till they fixed the saved datas bug

I don't really wanna have to re unlock everything but also dont want to just stop playing this game so it might be a case of just playing on an unlocked profile until a fix comes and hopefully that'll restore my saved data. And if not at least then I can comfortably start re unlocking stuf knopwing I wont just lose it again
