Searched everywhere hoping for an answer but after purchasing game I keep getting the following error:
"Ooops! Something went wrong:
(string"return {["ambient__control]"={[ambientfire1"]... ";1 attempt to perform arithmetic on global 'inf' (a nil value)
Tried uninstalling, verifying game files, deleting everything in %appdata% but so far nothing. Anyone have any ideas that I can try to fix this issue?

I know you’ve said you already deleted the AppData folder but this looks like it is caused by something in the %AppData%/Balatro/settings.jkr folder
Maybe there’s something weird with Steam Cloud that’s causing it to restore the bugged file?

It might. I would first try deleting it and turning off your internet so steam cloud doesn’t try and sync it up
If that fails send it here and I’ll see if I can fix it when I get a chance

imo I’d still call this a bug, if your settings file is corrupt the game should try and reset it to defaults instead of crashing
