The Shortcut Joker is described as "ex: 2,3,5,7,8" which has a gap of 2 ranks (4,6) as opposed to 1.

gaps of one rank means “one rank gaps between two numbers

#

the example (brackets= skipped) ,

#

2 3 (4) 5 (6) 7 8

#

they have one rank gaps between the numbers

#

and just to clarify in case you didn’t know

#

you can make straights with multiple gaps

#

an more absurd example is:

A Q 10 8 6

Right, but this joker doesnʻt let you do that. If that is the case with multiples of this joker then that should be explained. The card says "1 rank" while giving an example of 2 ranks.
