I can not really describe what is going on, just that when launch the game nothing will appear on my screen after I have launched it. I can hear the sound from an intro and then the title theme song play in the background, but everything will still be black.
I have tried to launch the game in windowed mode through steam to make sure that it isn't some kind of issue with resolution, but even then the game will ignore the launch option set through steam (-windowed -w 1024) and just launch in full screen totally black again.
Also, bottom right of the screenshot is the only thing that changes. It is a steam notification telling me "access the steam community while playing" which then disappears but leaves this trace on the screen. I don't know where to turn or what to try anymore so finally putting something on here but this has been the case when trying to start the game on my laptop since the demo.
Additional info maybe idk. This is on Windows 11, ive tried running the program as admin, reinstalled it multiple times and deleted settings files but nothing has worked so far. If anyone has any suggestions of what to try, or know how to force the game into window mode from launch since that is what i believe to be the issue, please let me know
