When selecting a hand, the score display with get flames leaping from it if the hand will win the round in 1 go. When using the plasma deck it seems the fire calculation is just using the normal multiplication, not the geometric mean.

I'll try to recrate it since I didn't take a screenshot, but I had a situation where even without adding in the points for the cards I would have beat it in one go, but the score didn't light up

I think it was a Straight Flush on the Big Blind of Ante 1.

The Plasma deck's score calculation isn't taken into account until after everything else happens. In the same way that having +mult jokers doesn't cause fire on winning hands while selected (before they're played), the mean scoring doesn't

Right, but it was just the base cards. So for a Straight Flush it is 100 x 8 which without anything else would sore ((100 + 8) / 2) ^ 2 = 2916 which is well above the 900 points required for the Little Blind on Ante 1.

#

If a normal deck had a Straight Flush being 100 x 8 = 800 it would show fire on the Little Blind at 600
