Whenever I open the game I am able to select a deck and beat ante one but if I buy a joker or use a tarot card or anything that requires me to press a button shaped like that it shows this error and the game closes when I press esc.

go to the title screen and look in the top right
should show something like 0.9.2 or something

go to the page on your steam account where you normally launch the game
then click the cog that’s on the right side of the screen where the play button is
then click properties
then go to ‘manage files’ or something along those lines in the menu that gets pulled up
then click ‘verify integrity of game files’
once that’s done, repeat the process of installing steamodded with the newest version
(you don’t need to change the mods folder in your balatro appdata)

you just have to ignore it, since the injector technically is a trojan
it’s 100% safe
windows just thinks it isn’t

Ok I dragged balatro.exe to the injector and now the game closes as soon as it loads
