#Joker or deck that rewards surplus score

I've only managed to unlock Painted Deck and Black Stake so far, so I haven't seen everything yet, but is there anything that rewards score above required chips with money? If not I think that would be a cool mechanic to have.

there is currently not

#

I don't think it would be very good if it existed

if you have a lot of surplus score, you're probably winning anyway

#

if you don't have a lot of surplus score, this is useless

Thanks that's what I wanted to hear, a bit of an explanation

#

There is currently a deck that rewards unused Hands and Discards, which one could argue has the same "problem"

#

But I'd find it fun to be rewarded for getting a higher score in a given round, in a similar way

#

As atm it's pointless to try to maximize the score above required Score

#

You could for instance have a build that's very strong early on, but doesn't scale very well. Having this mechanic could help propel you into late game by allowing you enough rerolls to pivot into something with better potential

#

And also min-maxing to get the highest score possible is fun

#

And win-more mechanics are fun in a game about numbers going up

Green Deck rewards efficient optimized play and focusing on quick strong bonuses that can get you more money while not worrying about Interest. You don’t have to overkill, just win in few hands/discards, which is much easier to do especially early on when you need the money.
This suggestion would just make it so already strong decks get boosted even further, while weak decks don’t do anything. Since you have to overkill it’s not enough to just play efficiently and do well, you need to have a deck that gives a ton of extra chips, usually through strong combos that can already help you a ton when you have them. So you don’t really need more on top of that. As a joker? Maybe. As a deck? No.

Huh. I was thinking of a Joker that was the opposite of this

#

Like Archer or Bullseye for a name, that if you beat the blind by only 5% or less, you get something

I do like that

Maybe money or a tarot or planet?
