So if I understand it right, correct me if I'm wrong

  • Sound_Util.lua is a coremod
  • Jojo.lua initializes it, tells it to play the included sound file if its name matches that of a played Tarot card

What I'm not sure about is, what purpose does this part serve?

does the custom_sound_global name affect anything? Does it have to match the mod ID or else throw an error?

I found a batch .wav to .ogg converter so it's probably not a big deal

im very pleased to say that it's working perfectly so far

i changed the internal name references in jojo.lua to isaac ones and swapped in the isaac .oggs and it works very well
no clear loss from turning wav to ogg
