about a month ago i played around with adding a new suit and rank to the game. i eventually got the 5th suit to work reasonably well, although there were some lingering indexing issues caused by the new rank being non-positive.

recently picked it back up to add a bunch more useless ranks and suits. my goal is something along the lines of "uno infinity" or "go fish super deluxe for super players" where the deck just gets inundated with junk. the existing rank/suit system is difficult to expand for my use case and the game doesnt work rn. but here's the cards spritesheet so far
