A suit that also plays some music!

I wanted to add a new suit for a while now, but now I have figured out a nice quirk to it: it plays notes when clicked!

What do you think? Do you have any other ideas for this specific suit?

I tried to keep the same theme of the other mult-to-suit jokers (Greedy, Lusty, Wrathful, Gluttonous)

which now i am thinking are part of the 7 deadly sins

the 5th, 6th, and 13th ones are pretty light-colored

it cna be kinda difficult to read them

The question is: should I lock the suit to a specific deck, or allow it in all decks?

you could do "vain" it used to be one of the eariler sins before it got folded into pride

ooo personally would love it on a specific deck! would be hard to use in all decks like how it works with checkered might get confusing

currently its only in 1 deck, so its fine

1 deck would be great for me personally but maybe if others would want to try the suit in other decks you could make 2 versions

like another version of the mod where it can be used in any deck

but that might be plenty of work i am not a modder

but for now I want to fix some issues with the mult joker and try to add a new blind

(and also find someone that could do some sprites for me XD)

everything in the mod is locked to that deck, so as to not interfere with other decks

This version adds a new suit, a new deck, 2 new jokers, a new tarot and a new blind.

question, did you happen to remember if you were last selecting a modded deck before installing the mod?

because if you last select a modded deck and close the game, then remove the mod, the game tries to make the deck select automatically go to one of the modded decks which arent loaded properly

the only issue ive found is that the price for tarot card when it is alone in the shop is only 1 dollar as opposed to 3 dollars like the other tarot cards

Sheet Music - 4x mult if only note + clubs/spades are played
Music Box - +2 chips per note card played
Amp - turn a random non note card into a note at the start of a round

yeah, also i think a lot of the pre existing related to suits need to be reworked to include notes, seems like it would make the deck more appealing

like flower pot - any 4 suits instead of the 4 base suits

The problem with that is that I don’t want to connect notes to any suit or suit color

have them be somewhat of a wild card, red suit in some cases, black suit in others

i feel like that would add a lot more pull to the deck instead of it just being a silly 5th suit deck

I think it would be very interesting to have each card represent a whole note, the ace being a whole note, the 2 being two balf notes, 3 being a half note and two quarter notes, 4 being four quarter notes ect... I can make the art if this idea is liked

Heya, the new suit doesnt show up at all, and its installed in the mods folder

i have determined a possible cause for this error

if a card that has appeared for the loading screen animation has the notes suit, but the deck currently being played does not, hovering over the deck causes the game to crash

(i.e. if the deck you're playing isn't the music deck)
