#Discarding Royal Flush does not unlock Brainstorm Joker

Howdy, I unlocked the checkered deck a while ago and decided to use it today to get the joker for discarding a royal flush hand. Started a normal unseeded run on white stakes and took a few tries before I managed it... and nothing unlocked. Finished out that run, started a new unseeded run and discarded one again but still nothing. I tried resetting my system and then starting a new run: still not unlocked.

I checked through reports and it doesn't seem like using that deck disqualifies that unlock. Am I missing something or is this a bug?

you should unlock BS after discarding the royal flush

make sure that you are actually discarding a "Royal Flush", not a "Straight Flush"

Royal being A-K-Q-J-10 of the same suit, yes. I did that at different points (first few blinds/late in the run) over 3 games and it didn't unlock. I'll try again and take a picture

Huh. I switched between 2 profiles and it triggered as unlocked when it loaded the main one. Still not sure what that was about but presumably fixed?

Thought id revive this since it just happened to me too. I had royal flush, hearts. jack and queen were bonus cards. Discarded it and didnt get the unlock.
probably worth noting I was on doing the "The Omelette" challenge. Gonna take a guess and say it didnät trigger because I was in challenge mode, but I havent seen that restriction explicitly.

Hi, this is happening to me as well. I am certain I am discarding a royal flush. I have done it 3 times now and I'm unable to get Brainstorm. I have fewer than 10 jokers remaining to get a complete set so I really want to figure out how to get this working.
