the point is that you have to sacrifice hands to be able to play/discard more cards

i simply backported the 1.0.0 bird to fix that issue, and thats when i found the issue about the animation always applied to the leftmost joker

Don't you think that The Center has a bit too harsh of an effect? If memory serves me right, none of the vanilla boss blinds have this permanent of an effect on your entire run, with the ones that have lasting consequences typically not being this extreme.

The Tooth can be mitigated with a smaller hand or just clearing it in one hand, The Ox can be gotten around depending on build, or you can just choose to take the hit if you're already low on cash (or take it to get out of debt instantly), and Verdant Life at least lets you choose which Joker to sell in order to satisfy its effect. The Center, on the other hand, could easily destroy a run if encountered too early, because you just won't have enough early-game econ to survive even if you made it past the blind itself.

Wouldn't a better effect be to only affect the next shop, potentially at +$2 cost per unused hand?

imo the point of The Center is to punish winning blinds with one hand, if you don't have eco then you can spend your hands before you lose, if you oneshot it anyway then by that point eco shouldn't matter too much

After both SMOD and your mod updated to the latest version, I still got crash when engaging your the Monster.
No matter Talisman's increase scoring limit is on or off, the game always crashes.
