I've played Balatro for 49 hours on my desktop. Yesterday, I downloaded and played the game for the first time on my laptop, and noticed that most of my unlocks were gone. Despite this, the game remembered which challenges I had cleared, which decks on what stakes I had cleared, and all of my jokers retained their stickers, even the ones that were no longer discovered or had been relocked. I closed the game, hoping that my actual save data would not be overwritten, but unfortunately when I loaded up the game on my desktop today, my save data had been replaced. It sounds strange, so I recorded a quick video to demonstrate.
I'm not terribly bummed out, as I won't have to replay any challenges or stakes that I've already cleared, and there's that big convenient "unlock all" button sitting on the main menu if I get sick of re-unlocking stuff. Still thought this warranted sharing though, so it can hopefully be addressed and not happen to anyone else.
