Four Fingers Forces My Straights To Be 4 Cards

Hey, so, Four Fingers is supposed to make it so that Flushes/Straights can be 4 cards, right? As in, if you play a hand that's Ace - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 (a 5-card straight, in other words), it's still supposed to score every single card, right?

Well, for some reason it's not doing this for me anymore. In this specific case, the 5 gets dropped--but I kept having this happen across a variety of Straight configurations. Maybe this is related to the current patch, although I don't know how it would have broken Four Fingers? At the very least, I recall this being different before.

Four Fingers still works as normal with playing 4 flush cards and 4 straight cards to have a 5-card Straight Flush, though.

yeah, 4 fingers is just meant to change the minimum requirement to make a straight. It shouldn't remove your ability to make a 5 card straight

oh, also the card it's removing isn't random--it's the "highest" card (so Ace is still counted in the example there, as it's like, a 1 for the straight, but 5 is dropped)

i actually found out exactly what was causing it--i think this needs to get tagged as "Not a bug" now, kind of?

i had the latest version of the modloader installed, but without any mods on. i didn't think that would impact anything, but i decided to try uninstalling it, just in case, even though that shouldn't affect four fingers

and four fingers started working

then i reinstalled the modloader, figuring maybe it was just the integrity of the game or something

and four fingers stopped working

so yeah, this has nothing to do with Balatro itself, but instead the latest version of the modloader, even when no mods are on

i'll go let the modloader folks know
