Title. Annoyingly cannot record this because it's an interaction between Balatro and OBS that doesn't occur when OBS is capturing your full desktop. If Balatro is already open when you open OBS and set a game capture source set to capture Balatro.exe to "visible," and then tab back into Balatro, the game crashes. Re-launching the game does allow you to record the screen as normal, but so long as you open Balatro before OBS, it suddenly doesn't like being captured. OBS version is 30.0.2 and Balatro is on version 1.0.0L
#Opening OBS and selecting Balatro for game capture causes the game to crash when tabbing back in.

similar problem here, with the same versions of Balatro and OBS. The game will sometimes crash when launching OBS or setting Balatro to visible on OBS.
I'd like to add a few thing (idk if it is valid for OP) :
It is not always bugged, and everything can work normally sometimes.
I noticed that sound capture does not give any sound when the game capture is bugged, but creating a new sound capture with the same setting does work... until you restart/crash the game
I did manage to record it :
The first 2 time the screen goes black for a second is me setting to invisible then visible the game though OBS. No problem yet
I then relaunched the game, set to invisible/visible the game again, and this time it crashed (which can cleary be heard)
Somewhat related problem I'm experiencing - if I turn off my JBL speaker (i.e. it runs out of battery) while Balatro is open, the Balatro sound will not come back until the game is restarted (this doesn't happen with any other game). Also the screenshotting with windows snipping tool and recording it with with varios build-in windows tools is quite glitchy (like requires start-stop-start to actually start capturing current Balatro gamestate)
Currently having this issue when trying to stream it. It was working a couple weeks ago but now it's not
Use a window capture instead of a game capture
