#Tarot card suggestion: Straddle/Merge

I've seen a lot of comments that more jokers modify towards either economy, flushes, or general function (deck thinning, card duping) that don't really benefit straights, and that often undervalue sets.

I think it would be interesting to have a card that merges two different cards ranks together (select two cards to merge) so that a K and a 3 could merge to a K/3, which would make these cards much more valuable in buffing straights, and give some versatility for sets- 3/4/5 of a kind, full/flush house. There'd likely be some kinks to work out around how to handle suits (do they rep both suits or do you take from one card) and any existing enhancements, but I think this would be an interesting way to mix things up. It would also indirectly aid in deck thinning, by effectively shrinking your size by one.

The other idea would be a "straddle" (stealing a poker term) where you pick a card, and this card could also represent one value higher or lower. So a selected 8 could either become a 7/8 or an 8/9, again giving some needed assistance to straight builds and some similar flexibility to set builds. Aces could go up or down (K or 2). I think the trickiest part would be how do you let the user indicate the direction they want to straddle.

Anyway, really loving this game so far, just some thoughts on some new mechanics to add variety to the tarot pool
