Not sure if this is really a bug per se and honestly the effect is kind of appropriate but just in case this is something that the designers don't want or don't like, if you collect enough double tags and then skip for an investment tag, you can cause the "defeat the boss blind" pay out to keep counting up and making the sound off screen, as shown in the included screenshot.
