Yes yes, texture pack mods are stupid easy and everyone's making them, but I noticed there isn't one made specifically for colorblind people.

Now I have no experience making things for colorblind people, but I did find an app that showed me what certain colors looked like for people who have Protanopia, Deuteranopia, and Tritanopia. I tried to pick colors that were similar to Caro's 4-color deck but were also easy to tell apart no matter which colorblind type you suffer from (so long as you're not monochromatic).

So, here ya go. It's definitely based off of these two mods.

Anyway, below is a picture of what colors I chose on the left, and then in order: Protanopia, Deuteranopia, and Tritanopia (according to the app I was using).

The picture here shows the original CBDeck.zip mod.

If you look one post below from ywle, they suggested alternate colors for this, if you would prefer those colors then grab CBDeckv2.zip instead from here: #1213904100065021962 message

If you look for a suggestion from @bold skiff, they suggested I make the clubs blue instead of diamonds so it's the darker color to be closer to the spades. I originally chose the colors so it'd reflect the Caro 4-color deck, but this deck is not designed for the fully sighted, it's for colorblind people, so here is that version if you'd prefer it.

idea for improving the colors: try using the LCh color space instead of RGB to dedicate colors for cards and adjust the lightness to be aesthetically pleasing
i've attached a color scheme that looks easier on the eyes while retaining accesibility

Should you swap the colors of Diamonds and Spades to make Spades closer to black?

Well, the idea is that the colors closely match the Caro deck. The commonly adopted 4-color deck introduced in the 90's and is still used today in online poker.
