the problem is that if you buy a hieroglyph voucher for 5 ante that will lower the ante level by 4, you will not get the achievement even if you have 5 vouchers purchased with your own hands. in the picture you can see that I had at least 5 purchased vouchers at the time of completion of ante 4. to be specific, I actually had manual purchased vouchers: +1 hand, blank, hieroglyph, painter and magic trick

Oh, I read "the problem is that if you buy a hieroglyph voucher for 5 ante that will lower the ante level by 4" as meaning you got to Ante 5 and then bought Hieroglyph to go back to Ante 4 (which I'm quite sure correctly counts against getting the achievement).

But the condition wasn't met - you went past Ante 4 to Ante 5, thus you can't get the achievement on that run. I think that seems intuitive, no?
