#progress carrying over from demo?

I am family sharing Balatro through Steam and just downloaded it, but when I opened the game for the first time after downloading, it said I unlocked some stuff and says I have one win. I believe this is from my progress carrying over from the demo, but I'm not sure what to do in this situation.

I played the September Demo; I'm not sure if there were other demos but I don't think I ever played any future demos. I believe I still have the demo installed on my laptop but I'm not really sure, as I played a lot in October 2023 but stopped playing as much since. (Edit: I just checked, and Steam says I last played November 10, 2023.)

The progress I have doesn't seem related to what is on the person's account I am sharing with, especially since there's only one win listed (and the person has had more than one wins on multiple profiles). I have the Green Deck and Black Deck unlocked (both of which weren't in the demo) as well as the Abandoned Deck (which I had unlocked in the demo). I looked it up and it seems like in the full release you need to have won with the Green Deck to unlock the Abandoned Deck (which I think requires at least two wins in the full release).

I attached the screenshot of my profile as well as my collection. The only thing I've done since opening the game is rename my profile and check out my collection.

Should I reset the profile or just continue playing on this profile?

Demo progress does not carry over into 1.0. May it be a save from family sharing being coopted into your save file?

I thought about that, and it might be the case. I'm family sharing with someone on a different PC than me though, and no files are shared between our PCs.

Additionally, the person I'm sharing with:

  • has two profiles with more than one win, with the third profile empty (but mine started with one win).
  • does not have Abandoned Deck on either profile (which I already had unlocked when I opened the game for the first time).

I ended up deciding to just continue playing on the profile instead of resetting the profile, and nothing else weird has happened so far.

I did see in various places that the demo progress shouldn't carry over into 1.0, but family sharing usually doesn't carry over progress. In every other game I've downloaded and played through family sharing (~4 with this same person, more with others), it's always loaded the game as if it was new the first time I opened it after downloading.

Also, when I opened the game for the first time, I unlocked these three achievements on Steam at the same time. If I hover over all the achievements, it says "Unlocked on Feb 28, 2024, 11:02 PM."
