Text boxes are not properly showing text, this has happened to both me and another user. Deleting the roaming files does not work, and verifying the integrity of the game files likewise does nothing. This renders the game near unplayable, as you may guess. No text appears whatsoever in my case, rendering menus unable to be navigated. Though all the settings seem to still work, and the game can be initiated. Just not played in a decent capacity without the ability to...read.

I agree. I checked and it affects the other language options (I don't know why it would not, but it helps to check). It seems to be purely visual, external links and such still work.

That could probably be implimented pretty easily, remove the descriptions of all Jokers, Arcana, and other such cards. You have to work off of memory
But yea, I have no clue how to go about fixing this. Any suggestions?

That sucks. I suppose I'll have to wait for a developer or such to answer, because at this rate the game is outright unplayable

It probably wont work but I could send my save.jkr file (the file of the current run Im in) and you could import it

do you have any razer programs (razer cortex in particular) ? if you do, try turning them off before running the game
for whatever reason that seems to be causing text-based issues for some users, might help here

I have seen this issue crop up a few times and it looks like the problem is with a 3rd party app doing something to the rendering - usually a Razer app

I have nothing of the sort, never have. I've never heard what razer was before this
Could it just be that my graphics card is very old?
This computer is running windows 7 and is has....probably never been upgraded or had parts replaced since 2009
though it runs games like sekiro (though laggy) without much issue, aside lag
unless i have something that affects that somewhere that i don't even know of. Hell would i even find that though...

Oh it might not meet minimum requirements for OpenGL

maybe other people with old computers are having the same problem
