Game constantly crashing after 1-5 minutes of gameplay

I've had it crash multiple times now, freezing and displaying a "balatro.exe is not responding" window until i close the game. It's happened in the main menu and during gameplay, any fix?

same thing was happening to me, i fixed it by disabling my geforce experience instant replays

could also be a thermals issue
