this actually looks pretty cool, how does it look with effects like wild/smeared?
Those are from older versions so it has the balatro sprites for face
Works well with the DNDG version
All that’s left is the UI and the jokers for V1.0

Gonna have two versions for Tarot cards

Option 1 (Default): DNDG Tarots
Option 2: Balatro Tarot Cards (Balatro Style Coloring)
Option 3: Balatro Tarot cards (DNDG Colored inside)
Planets and spectrals are done
I really love how the moon came out with this version
obviously lots need to be done for other stuff like vouchers and such

The plan is to have Balatro styled effects while keeping the original pretty similar

Major change: Changed the card size to be the same as D&DG
Did a simple change to seals, thought it'd be neat to have them at the bottom of the card

Having a weird problem though that every time i try to switch from low contrast to high cards, it crashes, and vice versa
It works fine when you uninstall and switch so idk if it’s something with steamodded or the mod
Concepting cards
Trying to keep it as accurate as i can. To the cards with Balatro logic
Example: The Fool. Can’t really swap with an opponent, the “opponent” is the boss blind
So instead i just have it adding played cards back into the deck randomly
It’s like trying to do the opposite. All the base balatro cards add chips but chips are currency in D&DG while chips are score in balatro
So i’ll figure out some way to replicate

Yeah. I knew the modding api was having big updates that would make the old version of the mod unusable so i’ve been relearning it

There is a nominal value in Ranks. Idk if it can be a decimal value, but yo can do the 21, 0 and 1 easily I think

they were asking for retexture, so yeah
something like:
The Bard = The Hook (he has a Dis-Card)
The Bartender = The Window (he has Diamonds starting deck)
The Drunk = The Manacle (he has a rules card that can potentially set your bust limit to 20, equivalent to -1 hand size)

I need to figure out how every card would work in DNDG for Balatro
So thanks to asking PMC about this, Ranks 11+ will be above every other rank
Now obviously, I have to mess around with the Strength code
The Order now is...
-11, -10, -9, -8, -7, -6, -5, -4, -3, -2, -1, -Ace, 0, 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace, 11, 12, 13, 21
Pi is not in the rotation but half is just because it'd be easier most likely to just have it that way for building the suits. However, I will allow you to use Balatro's Strength to let you turn a pi into a 4 (if i can code it)
This is to change potentially depending on how the final game has it
Also, Strength will not work on 11 of Nothings atm as 12 of Nothings and higher does not exist
Also from what i can see, Negative and 0 of nothing do not exist either so they won't be allowed changes to Nothings either
I would like to have 2 separate choices for this mod
one with texture pack only, the other with expansion
It's going to be two separate downloads

I can tell texture pack will include everything texture-related in expansion
my main goal is to replace vanilla objects with D&DG-themed ones
since I'm more indulged in D&DG than in Balatro 
I’m going 100% in on the texturepack and mod
