I believe that's the name. The boss that discards two cards every time you play a hand. I was expecting a sweet 16 dollars for my two hand kill, but alas, I am still broke.

if it's intended then fine, whatever. But I saw another post about a different boss having the same problem, so if it is intended, then matador just isn't a very good joker

Yeah it doesn't trigger on The Tooth either, which was infuriating cause I only took it because I saw the boss blind and that seemed like a perfect way to counter it

agreed - it’s a little difficult to surmise that like playing a 4 card hand on the 5 card boss kicks it but a debuffed diamond on that boss doesn’t
it feels like it should have a trigger condition for every boss almost - even on Needle playing a hand should trigger and on Water you should just get the money when it takes your discards

I doubt it would tho. And if so, maybe cap the amount you can earn per boss like they do with certain tarots
Really, any card that creates wealth without helping you beat blinds is already a trade off anyways, so it would only potentially be broken on builds that benefit from that (ex: the bull joker)
Probably wouldn't even need to cap it actually, just lower the payout accordingly
End of the day you are only gonna be able to trigger it as max once for each hand, and for many bosses that probably too dangerous
